A permanent Support Worker vacancy has arisen within a very reputable Community Support Service for 19 clients with Learning Disabilities who live in independent accomodation within the Oxford City area. THIS IS A LONE-WORKING ROLE.
It is essential that you must be able to travel between locations during the day - a car driver would be ideal but not essential - this role would be do-able by bike or bus! However, there will be LOTS OF TRAVEL around the area each day and you should enjoy the variety of being &amp;#39;out and about&amp;#39; to be successful for this post. 
All the people supported by this service have a Learning Disability and some have a secondary diagnosis such as autism or enduring mental health diagnoses. Supporting 13 people in the community with mild, moderate and complex Learning Disabilities, the ideal candidate will work across different services - some in flats with minimal support with activities such as budgeting, whilst at the 24hour houses, you may be providing personal care and support for a higher level of needs. There is one person supported in this service with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder - therefore anyone with Mental Health experience (or Personality Disorder in particular) - and the challenges associated with this - would be of particular interest.

Ensure that any changes to product specification, project scope or deliverables requested by the customer are identified and considered for their commercial and timing implications and that they are communicated to the relevant Commercial Manager before agreement and implementation ensuring uncontrolled creep of project scope does not occur. 
Where project progress does not meet agreed timing, the Project Manager must work with the project team to develop recovery plans, escalating and working with Senior Managers as required. If failure to deliver remains expected, then this situation and its implications must be highlighted to the Directors and relevant Commercial Manager. 
Organise, chair and minute internal and client project review meetings and Design Review meetings as required. 
Ensure that valid phase sign-offs are achieved, aligned with Phase Development SOP requirements. 
Produce monthly Project Progress Reports for senior management and to report project progress at monthly Project Review meetings. 
Liaise closely with the relevant Commercial Manager and to attend client meetings and presentations as required.
